  • The Grizzly Loft slept 10 comfortably with four queen beds in the bedroom and two twin beds in the living room. The kitchen and dining area were large enough to sit 10 at the table. The bathroom was down stairs, as well as the washer and dryer. It was clean and had enough towels. Great location! About 45 minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance.

  • We had a great time in this adorable cabin! It had everything we needed and within close distance to West Yellowstone. We even got to watch a fox right out the window. Was a great place to spend our family vacation!

  • What can I say about this place, my wife and I and two friends stayed here for four nights in June 2019  and the place is huge! I'm sure the place had just been refurbished because everything was so clean and tidy and everything smelt fresh and new but reading other reviews it sounds like it's like this all the time, everything that you needed was there ( maybe a kettle for guests from England ,sorry we love our tea) . Was a peaceful and quiet area to stay and ideal for the West Entrance to Yellowstone, a special mention for Carol who kept in contact with us regarding any requirements and to Jake for making us feel so welcome. If we ever get back to Yellowstone will definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is thinking of staying in this area.

  • This cabin has everything. We rented ATVs from the host and rode to the top of Sawtelle Peak and then to the trail head for our hike that crossed the continental divide. Then came back and soaked in the hot tub. The kitchen is stocked with anything we need to cook, but we used the grill on the deck most of the time. Now that I know how much there is to do, we're planning a longer stay next time. There is a really fun kid-sized loft that that they will discover to have their own hideout.

  • We rented a large side by side that fit 6 people. They were friendly and easy to work with. They were always available via text and always answered promptly. I shopped around and they had the best prices. we really enjoyed the time frame of 9am-6pm. it allowed us to do a lot of exploring. It was great to be able to leave our motorhome there for the day as well. Our kids are ages 6, 10, 13, & 14. we fit comfortably and it was great to be able to ride all together as a family:) plenty of storage in the back to fit coolers and any other supplies. Bring bungees or rope to secure them though.

  • We stayed in the West Yellowstone Cabin in the Island Park Village Resort with nine people that included our new in-laws from Italy. This was in a very quiet neighborhood with open space on 3 sides that made us feel like we were really out in the country (the only noise was some cows mooing in the distance). Yet, we were only a stone's throw from the Henry's Fork River, about 10 minutes to Henry's Lake, and 20 min. to West Yellowstone. Really the best of all worlds as we find West Yellowstone to be crowded and noisy during the summer season. Island Park is a great basecamp for exploring everything in this area. There were plenty of rooms and bed options (some double beds, some bunk beds, some private rooms, some open rooms). The two large bathrooms each easily accommodated two people (or more) at the same time. The young adults stayed in the bunk beds and said they were great, and the older adults took the two private bedrooms. Everyone was happy and comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. The kitchen and dinning area were large enough to easy handle our group. It came with plenty of cooking appliances and utensils (the only thing it didn't have was a waffle iron, so we brought our own). There were some seasonings and such left by other guests, so generally plan to bring your own condiments, syrup, jam, etc. There is a general store 5 min. away in case you forget anything. The young adults very enjoyed the hot tub, but it is right next to one of the bedrooms, so plan accordingly. The upstairs bathroom is also directly over this same room, so expect to hear someone showering or flushing the toilet (this didn't both us). The fire pit was also a nice amenity for making S'mores, and the view of the stars in the evening was fantastic.Overall, we were very happy and would stay here again.

  • We are a family of 4 and we decided to have a weekend getaway. We wanted to be somewhere near Harriman Park for cross country skiing and other winter activities. The Grizzly Loft was a good size for our family. It included enough beds, as well as a well equipped kitchen where you can cook all your meals with no problems. The view outside the loft is breath taking. Beautiful and peaceful. Island Park Cabins and lodges gave us an excellent service. It was the perfect location for our getaway.

  • My family and I stayed at Black Bear Lodge over thanksgiving vacation. There were 14 of us all together and we had a fantastic time!! The cabin is gorgeous with plenty of room for everyone. We had such a great time up there with so much to do, that no one even took their phones out to play games. It was a great trip!!! I highly recommend Island Park Cabins!!

  • I cannot say enough good things about this place and the people that run it. They went above and beyond when rented the wrong type of car and couldn't get to our original cabin due to ice they stepped right up and gave us a new cabin that was easily accessible. They were always helpful from booking till the end of the stay. The cabin itself was so homey and comfortable it was top notch a complete joy to stay at. The sled rentals were made so easy and the staff there went out of there way to help us feel safe and comfortable riding. We will definitely be coming back there. Top notch place

  • We stayed in this cabin for 8 days and we enjoyed a lot. This cabin has everything like Fire Place , Jaccussi , lot of beds , Big Kitchen and all required utensils. This cabin is also close from Yellowstone like 40~45 minutes from West Yellowstone and local store is also just 1 mile far from this cabin. if you have plan to stay in this cabin then I also recommend to go to Golf course which is just 0.5 mile from cabin and there you can rent some gear and play golf they also give free Ping pong rackets so you can also play Ping pong and Tennis as well.It would be fun if this cabin also set up small playroom in cabin itself.I highly recommend for anyone who is planning to go to Yellowstone

  • What a great place! I visited Island Park Cabins and Lodges in February 2019 for a few days of relaxing and riding snowmobiles. The experience I had far exceeded my expectations. The housing feels like home, built with the same quality and attention to detail. The snow machines were new and built for the surrounding terrain, not some wore out equipment that you often see. They also had everything I needed like bibs, boots, coat, gloves, helmet, etc… I did bring my own thermals, head cover and goggles. The best part was the people. I have to say some of the nicest, most sincere people I’ve ever met. They did everything to make sure my time there was the best it could be. Although, I did have some dealing with a guy named Bryan that wasn’t great, but I can’t let one bad apple spoil the bunch. All in all a great experience that I will never forget and will be back soon when I can stay longer! I will highly recommend Island Park to everyone, hence this review

  • We had a great time staying at the Grizzly Cabin. We got a fresh layer of snow overnight and it made for a very beautiful setting. Our kids enjoyed playing in the new snow in the area and this cabin was centrally located to West Yellowstone, Harriman State Park and other beautiful areas to explore. The cabin had all the necessary amenities and slept everyone very comfortably. Highly recommend!

  • The cabin was very clean and we loved the way it was laid out. We fit two families (four adults, four teens and two English labradors) in the cabin. It was comfortable to hang out. The table fits 8 comfortably and there are four leather recliners in the living room. We held family movie night and some of the kids watched from the loft area since the tv was hung high enough. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. The coffee maker is only a 4 cup, so we had to make multiple pots to energize the adults. There is no large pot to make big batches of spaghetti or chili, but there is a slow cooker. The cabin is stocked with everything from toilet paper to kitchen sponges and detergent. The cabin does have a jacuzzi and a nice big grill. The location is perfect if you want to get away from the touristy West Yellowstone area, but it's not too far where you're driving forever before reaching the West entrance. The cabin is also located in between other state parks and national forests. Jake and Carol were easy to communicate with and gave us really great suggestions on hikes and things to do that doesn't come up on Google.Overall, we had a wonderful trip and are already thinking about when we can come back!

  • We enjoyed the house very much. It has enough rooms from fit large crowd and good size kitchen with all the utility. The house was located only 20 minutes from Yellow stone national park. Very convenient location. The host was great. If you go at night time you may want to make sure where is the house located. The host will provide the map which come in handy than the GPS.
