The cabin is in a quiet location out Kilgore road. Located short driving distance to Island Park Reservoir and the West entrance to Yellowstone Park. Out the back door is a wide open field with amazing views.
There isn’t any public transportation in the area so you’ll need to have a car to get around. There 700+ miles of trails that one can ride motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles etc on. We have ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles available for rent if you’re looking for a different way to explore the area other than in a car.
From mid-December to March you can depend on snow in Island Park. The roads are plowed well, but it would be a good idea to bring a vehicle that works well in the snow. A truck with clearance, 4WD or AWD is best.
Take an adventure on the hundreds of miles of trails for snowmobiles, UTVs, and ATVs right out the back door. We also rent out snowmobiles, UTVs, and ATVs as well and can arrange a rentals for you!
We ask that you do a couple simple things when checking out like take your trash to landfill, load and start dishwasher, wash towels and leave them drying, pull sheets off of beds that are slept in and leave them on beds. We do this to make sure the cleaning service has enough time to get the cabin ready for the next guests and to keep fees lower for you.
